Samudayik Shiksha Kendra
14 learning centers - 7 teachers - 650 children reached since 2017
Community teachers hold lessons in learning centers before and after school in which they engage activities connected to education, village development, livelihoods, and problem solving. Teachers use the Korku language to help students understand key concepts.
Ghar Ghar Kitaab
14 villages - 2,000 storybooks - 1400 families reached since 2022
Our team members visit the homes of local families, and read each family a storybook. Then, they leave the book with the family for a day to enjoy and discuss, and bring a new book the next day.
1000 and You
25 villages - working with 667 youth since 2021
Our organization works with Korku children who have dropped out of school but wish to return. Our team members facilitate mainstreaming through talking with parents, teachers and guardians, helping prepare relevant documents and sometimes providing school supplies. We have begun work with 667 children, primarily girls, who are especially likely to drop out of school.

50 government schools - engaging 2,500 children since 2023
This initiative is uses physical education as a method for child development. Our team members work with local schools, parents and directly with children: playing, spreading awareness of nutritious eating habits, and encouraging girls to get involved in sports too.
